The Revival Tour begins its fifth year this March with a company of amazing storytellers in Chuck Ragan, Dan Andriano (Alkaline Trio, The Emergency Room), and longtime Lucero collaborator Cory Branan, Tommy Gabel (Against Me!), and renowned singer/songwriter Nathaniel Rateliff.

In celebration of this year’s tour, SideOneDummy Records will be releasing a very limited edition die cut 7” on April 3, 2012 in the shape of a saw blade. Featuring two unreleased tracks from Chuck Ragan’s Covering Ground recording sessions (“Field Holler” and “Live By the Sword”), an exclusive red version of the vinyl will only be available with pre-order tickets for The Revival Tour.

2011 was a big year. 173 shows, 77,242 miles and it’s all captured on this print. With 2012 showing no signs of slowing down, we made this limited edition piece to commemorate a huge year past, and look forward to another full year ahead.

Only a week until the The Revival Tour takes off in the UK. Rooms are selling out quickly!

We’ve now released the new record “Covering Ground” to the people! I’m so very proud of everyone’s hard work on this from the page to the warehouse. I count my blessings to be working with such solid individuals and dear friends! We’re thankful to all of you supporting and for getting ahold of this record in any way you’re able, but would like to urge you to support your local record stores to help keep them thriving! Request it in your local stores or pick it up online!

We’re thrilled to share this music with you and are out-and-about playing a lot of these new tracks now!

We are premiering a session we did with the good folks from the one and only Wolfgang’s Vault in San Francisco. Jon Gaunt, Joe Ginsberg and I played the songs from “Covering Ground” in sequence of the new record the last time we rode the fog in and out of that beautiful city. Check it out by clicking HERE.

Very much looking forward to coming to a city near you soon! We’re out now w/ Dropkick Murphys and a whole slew of amazingly talented groups and friends on the Shamrock-N-Roll festival that kicked off at Fenway Park last week.

From here we’re joining onto the 4th year of The Revival Tour that will take us through Europe, the UK and Ireland through Oct. The shows have been selling out fast so if anyone is interested to see this event, we recommend getting a hold of tix soon (don’t forget to get there early!) We’ve got a great lineup of Brian Fallon of Gaslight Anthem, Dan Andriano of Alkaline Trio, Dave Hause of the Loved Ones, myself, Ian Perkins (who’ll be performing some Horrible Crowes material w/Brian,) and the accompaniment of Jon Gaunt on the fiddle and Joe Ginsberg on the upright bass. There may be some very special guests along the way. We’re taking the stage for the first time all together!

After The Revival Tour I’ll be heading down to play 1 gig w/HWM at the fest on the 28th before joining up again for the 3rd tour this year with Social Distortion! Kicking off on Nov. 1st, we’ll run with them to finish out the year while covering a lot of ground from Florida, into the great SouthEast, East Coast, Mid West and on out to Denver and then home sweet home.
